I love to make cathedral lace windows and incorporate them into my heirloom projects but they are very time consuming when created the traditional way. I think everyone will love this simple heirloom technique which can now be done in the embroidery hoop saving lots of time. While this design doesn’t look identical to the traditional version, I like this reverse appliqué version a little better with its romantic scallops and delicate vine roses. A pretty wing needle heart design is also included in this collection.

To create the lovely cathedral lace windows you will need white English cotton netting and Wet n Gone water-soluble stabilizer.
