This CD includes 9 beautiful designs and features one of my favorite heirloom techniques; Madeira Appliqué.
Three sizes of Madeira Appliqué designs are included which all use a 100 wing needle to create a unique heirloom technique which has been recreated in the embroidery hoop. You can also use this design to create a “Reverse Shadow Appliqué” or simply stitch it out without using an overlay fabric to create pretty wing needle scallops.
Volume 2 features two additional wing needle designs.
The cover of the CD showcases the Australian Windowpane technique which is detailed with step-by-step color photo instructions found on the “printable” PDF file included with the CD. You can also use English cotton netting for a softer border as shown below. You will need a combination of stabilizers for this collection: Heat N Sta Tearaway & Wet N Gone. |
