Hope Yoder – 1 day (Baby Lock Machine Provided)

Beauty and functionality are the building blocks for Hope’s Madeira Rose Bag. The finished dimensions are 13” by 18” tall by 4” deep, allowing room for a wide laptop computer or use as a generously sized purse. Inside you’ll discover two quilted pockets that are designed to hold accessories, cords, notebooks and file folders – all safely concealed by a pretty rose embossed covered button closure. The bag’s exterior is adorned with a lovely embroidered peace rose framed in heirloom style by a contrasting Madeira appliqué border.

9. “Little Black Dress” Nightgown
Hope Yoder – 1 day (Baby Lock Machine Provided)

Sugar and spice and everything nice perfectly describes Hope’s new nightgown for ladies. The nighty is reminiscent of the glamour gowns worn by movie stars from long ago with its off-the-shoulder modest straps and hints of lace and charm. The foundation fabric is black cotton with some subtle accent colors using laces and a touch of machine embroidery. Hope is known for her romantic style and this nighty is no exception. Come, sit and sew with Hope while she helps you to “Romance Your Wardrobe.” Learn all of her helpful hints and special embellishment techniques while you relax and sew something for yourself. A muslin try-on garment will be available to help you create the perfect size from XS-3XL.

Strawberry Scissor Chatelaine

Come relax after a day of sewing with an embroidery project that is created entirely in the embroidery hoop. No sewing at all! The chatelaine is a free-standing pocket created from beautiful rose and sage green silk dupioni that is the perfect size to hold your small scissors. The chatelaine can be worn around the neck and includes an embroidered hang hole which is punched out with an eyelet tool. The strawberry forms the front pocket with tiny seeds and detailed padded stitching on leaves and stems which form the top edge of the pocket. The back of the pocket resembles lace from an heirloom doily with a center oval motif of candlewicking and strawberries. The intricate lace is slightly raised to form a padded look which gives the design great dimension. Have fun and leave with a finished project!
