• What formats do you offer?
   
• Most of my products are in the following formats: ARTv4, DST, HUS, JEF, PES, VIP, VP3, XXX. A complete listing of formats are shown on each collection page.
   
• What is your copyright policy?
   
• All patterns & instructions are copyright by Designs by Hope Yoder, Inc. The written instructions may NOT be reproduced in any form. You may create as many projects as you like for your personal use, but you may NOT make the projects to sell. They are for personal use only. To make projects & resale them for money, violates copyright laws.
   
• Can I sell items that I embroider with your designs?
   
• The files you purchase from Designs By Hope Yoder, Inc. are copyrighted and may NOT be shared or re-sold (on eBay or other auction sites.) The designs you purchase may be used for home use only and may not be copied in any part. To do so violates Federal Copyright Laws. To embroider our designs on items for resale you may purchase a "Commercial License Certificate" for a small one time fee of $95-$150.00 per CD plus the cost of the embroidery CD (not available on instant download design purchases). This certificate is only applicable for use on a single head (single or multi-needle) embroidery machine and is only available on designated design collections which can be found on each collection webpage (look under Embroidery Collections to find out which design packs currently have the "Commercial License Certificate" option).
   
• Can I share designs from your site with a friend?
   
• No, Sharing is stealing. The files you purchase from Designs by Hope Yoder, Inc. are copyrighted and may NOT be shared or re-sold.
   
• Can I purchase design wholesale?
   
  • Yes we offer our design collections at wholesale prices to retail stores. Please click here to print a wholesale order form. For your first order we require a copy of your current Annual Resale Certificate and your website address.
     
• Can I use your products to teach classes?
   
• Yes you may teach classes using many of our products if each student purchases their own embroidery collection, pattern or book. The store may purchase products wholesale from Designs by Hope Yoder, Inc. Products that qualify are books written by Hope Yoder, embroidery collection CD's and Hope Sew Patterns. None of the "download only" products may be used for teaching purposes, to do so violates copyright laws.

• Where do I register to receive special offers and free designs?
   
• Each of the webpages on our site contains a link where you can subscribe to our email list to receive free designs, notification of new design sets, and other special offers. On this page, it is at the top right.
   
• How do I use a coupon for your site?
   
  • When you get to the shopping cart, there will be a place to type in your coupon or discount code.

• How do I pay for my designs?
   
• Designs by Hope Yoder, Inc. uses Paypal where you can use VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS.
   
  You do NOT have to have a Paypal account. If you don't have an account, once you get to the Paypal checkout, click on the "Continue" link under the words "Don't have a Paypal account?"
   
  You can also pay by mail. Click here for a printable order form.
     
• How do I receive my designs?
   
• Once payment for your order is complete, you will be redirected to your order confirmation page where you will find a link to download your purchased files. You will also receive an email containing the link to your order, just in case (check your spam folder if you do not receive this email). • What is your Refund Policy?
   
• Refund Policy:  Designs are not refundable or returnable after purchasing and will only be replaced with a new version of the same design if disk is defective.  Patterns, notions, kits & fabric are not refundable. Please consider your purchase carefully as items are not returnable after purchasing. Contact us if you receive a defective design CD, pattern or notion, and we will be happy to replace it. • What is your privacy policy?
   
• At Designs by Hope Yoder, Inc., we understand that providing us with the necessary information required to process your purchases requires trust. We take your trust very seriously and make it a priority to protect the confidentiality of your information. Your information will never be sold or shared with any third party. We do however use this information internally for the purposes of order processing, and customer notification. Rest assured that we would never intend to use your information in any manner that you would not approve of. NOTE: Credit card information is NOT stored on . All credit card information goes through Paypal, a secured and trusted site.
   
• How secure is my order?
   
• Because your payment information (credit cards) are processed through Paypal, your credit card information is not stored on our site. Paypal uses the highest level of SSL encryption technology available to ensure that your credit card information is kept secure and private.

• I didn't receive my confirmation email or I haven't been receiving my newsletters.
   
• If your Email Provider or ISP has built-in "spam" filters, make sure you check your 'Bulk' or 'Spam' folder for legitimate emails, including responses from us.  Many ISP's such as Yahoo/Gmail, have very aggressive email filtering in place, that may block or mark legitimate emails as spam.
   
  If you have signed up for e-mails from Designs by Hope Yoder, Inc. or have placed an order from we want to ensure that these e-mails are not marked as "spam", "bulk mail" or "junk mail", please add to your address book. This will help you will be able to receive any e-mails that come from . Please follow the procedure below appropriate for your e-mail service.
   
  Yahoo
  To ensure that e-mail is delivered to your Yahoo Inbox (not the "Bulk Mail" folder), you can instruct Yahoo to filter it to your Inbox:
   
        › Open your Yahoo mailbox
        › Click on "Mail Options"
        › Click on "Filters"
        › Click on "Add Filter"
        › In the top row (labeled "From header:") make sure "contains" is selected
           in the drop-down menu
        › Click in the text box next to that pull-down menu and type
           - At the bottom option "Move the message
           to:" select "Inbox"
        › Click on "Add Filter"
   
  Hotmail
  To ensure that e-mail is delivered to your Inbox you can add to the "Safe List":
   
        › Click on the "Options" tab
        › Select "Safe List" under the heading "Mail Handling"
        › In the space provided enter
        › Click on "Add"
        › When you see both e-mail addresses in the "Safe List" box click on "OK"
   
  AOL
  To ensure that e-mail is delivered to your Inbox you can set your "Mail Controls":
   
        › Go to Keyword "Mail Controls"
        › Select the screen name that matches your e-mail address
        › Click on "Customize Mail Controls for this Screen Name"
   
  › For AOL version 7.0:
        › In the section "exclusion and inclusion parameters" include the domain
           @
   
  › For AOL version 8.0:
        › Select "Allow e-mail from all AOL members, email addresses and
           domains"
   
        › Click on "Next" until the "Save" button appears at the bottom
        › Click on "Save"
    
  Other E-mail programs
  If you are using another e-mail program then your Internet Service Provider (your "ISP") or mail-filtering program may block e-mails. If you have your own mail-filtering program be certain that the e-mail address and/or the domain @ are allowed to send you e-mail.
   
  If you think your ISP may be filtering e-mail explain to them you would like to receive these emails. They may ask you for more detailed technical information. Tell them the following information:

• How do I download my designs?
   
• Once payment for your order is complete, you will be redirected to your order confirmation page where you will find a link to download your purchased files. You will also receive an email containing the link to your order, just in case (check your spam folder if you do not receive this email). • Where did my download go?
   
•  Your designs will be saved to a location that you select during the download process. In most cases, this would be on your desktop or or in your embroidery design folder named "Connie Palmer". If you cannot find where you saved your files, you can redownload them at anytime by signing back into our website & click on your order number.
   
• How do I “unzip” my files?
   
• In Windows XP or Vista, you can right-click on the file and select "extract all", following the prompts after. Previous versions of windows, you will need to download an unzipping program, such as WinZip. Download.com offers a 45-day trial of WinZip here.
   
• How many times can I download the design?
   
• You can always log back into your account and click on your order number to redownload your files at any time.
   
• I accidentally selected the wrong format, now what?
